ViaFerm
“ViaFerm” is an inoculant for silage. The product contains patented strains of live bacteria that produce lactic acid, tested during animal fattening and approved for use in feed of all breeds or categories of cows, sheep, goats and pigs:
Lactobacillus plantarum NCIMB30083
Lactobacillus plantarum NCIMB30084
Enterococcus faecium DSM 22502
Pediococcus pentosaceus DSM 23688
The number of bacteria is 2.0х1011 (CFU) colony-forming units.
The application requirement for 1 ton of silage is 1 g of the drug, in a 200 g package (calculated for 200 t of silage).
Advantages:
– regulated fermentation process;
– an individual approach to each culture;
– a rapid decrease in the level of acidity, pH;
– decrease in the level of ammonia, NH3;
– optimization of the correct ratio of organic acids;
– excellent palatability of silage;
– better intake of dry matter (DM);
– better feed digestibility;
– reduction of losses during storage;
– preserving the quality of feed by controlling and stopping the harmful action of microorganisms that cause the process of secondary fermentation (heating of silage mass);
– increase in productivity of animals.
