In addition, “CAB-booster” includes flax, which contains mucin-like substances that protect the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract, which prevents the appearance of inflammatory processes and digestive disorders in cattle. Very often, rations of the dry period are impossible without the addition of a special product to reduce the cation-anion balance, because roughages have an increased content of potassium and calcium. The product is necessary for the activation of PTH (parathyroid hormone). This hormone is responsible for the exchange of calcium in the blood and body tissues of cows. Due to the use of this product, calcium metabolism is activated and hypocalcemia (postpartum paresis, depression and decreased appetite) is prevented, as well as the manifestation of such diseases as ketosis, endometritis, and mastitis is minimized. This product should be used in the diet about 1 kg per head per day. It must first be mixed with the main feed. The effectiveness of the product is monitored by the urine pH test. The normal pH of urine is 6.2-7.8.
